"Our family had a very special vacation at Villa farneta in October '04. When we came through the gate, the Sorrentino family graciously welcomed us to their beautiful villa. The gardens and grounds are lovely, and we all enjoyed the swimming pool and cabana area. The villa is fabulous with elegant furnishings, and art work,and is also comfortable,spacious and extremely well maintained. We also enjoyed being located close to Lucca, which gave us the ability to take interesting side trips. From the olive tress to the pool, to the most beautiful Lucca surroundings, it was the most peaceful and romantic place on earth. The cook and the house cleaners were wonderful and the villa had everything we wanted in an Italian Villa! "The Villa Farneta is a jewel. Every thing about the villa is perfect. We brought our family to Italy to stay at the Villa Farneta the grandchildren who ranged in age from 16 to one year-had a wonderful time not only because of the many amenteties such as a swimming pool, wonderful views of the country side, beautiful rooms, but the kindness of the owners, the Sorrentino family.
